I figured that after I got my appetite back and with a cheat meal on Saturday scheduled; I would put some weight back on and slow the progress of loosing. Wrong. I am at the lowest weight I have been in years (about 20 years)! I weighed in at 185.4 this morning so I had Shannon take my photo for an updated Before and After.
Here is the photo with the comparison to 2008’s 226 pounds (about the heaviest I have ever weighed). I weighed 212 on November of 2012 (my first surgery where they removed my bladder cancer). I use to bounce around from 210 to 226 all the time and could never get my weight below 210 very easily. Apparently I was on the wrong diet(s) because this has happened very easily.
Doing a quick search on the web; I apparently should weigh 160 pounds for my height (5′ 11″). My recommended weight range is between 143 and 178 pounds. This online Healthy Weight Calculator used the Hamwi formula, a simple formula commonly used by many clinicians. I was saying 180 was my goal but I guess I’ll change it up and now start saying 160 pounds!
