It cost $280.00 to recharge the Freon, replace Contactor, and sealed a leak on my AC unit. The air coming out of the vents is very cold now! The repair guy said if I didn’t replace the Contactor the next time the temperature went above 90 it would probably short out. He also recommended going up a size if the AC unit is ever replaced. He said that with this unit on 90 or above days it is likely to run continuously because it should be one size larger for this house.
